The Granville Carnival 24 - 28 February 2017

The Granville Carnival, runs from 24th to 28th February and is the oldest (143rd year!) and biggest event of its kind in Normandy.


The festival is on UNESCO's Cultural Heritage list. Highlights include a children's parade and ball with fancy-dress competition, illuminations, fireworks, floats, concerts and a fairground, ending in a huge street party with groups playing live music throughout the town.

It is definitely worth a visit!
